Annual Function at VPMS Pune
There was a reason to smile for every student in Vikhe Patil School as the annual day celebrated was a grand success and everyone enjoyed it thoroughly.
Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Pune celebrated its Annual function at its campus on 14 th October, 2022. The Chief Guest Mr. Shrikant Sarda, Dr. Ashok Vikhe Patil, Chairman of Dr. Vikhe Patil Foundation along with other board members, Principals of other sister concerns and Principal Ms. Mrinalini B. graced the ocassion.
Former U.S President John F. Kennedy once said, “All of us do not have equal talents, but all of us should have an equal opportunity.” Enunciating the true essence of the quote, VPMS Pune bestowed upon students a platform to showcase their varied talents with utmost sincerity and dedication.
The program, themed “ Adventurous Air- Panchamahabhutam” began with a classical dance. Students enacted a skit, portraying a conversation between the god of every element- air, water, earth, fire and space. The students performed ‘Tandava’, devoted to the element of fire. This was followed by a dance and mime.
Through a skit, the students showcased the problem of air pollution and how it affects humans. A group song was performed in Hindi which lifted the spirits of the audience. There was a spectacular aerial dance performance with a combination of aerobics. Last but not the least, the program was concluded by a group song by the melodious choir of VPMS Pune.
The Chief Guest Mr. Shrikant Sarda, Managing Director at Accenture Technolgy was introduced. He was called upon to share his thoughts on that evening. Mr. Shrikant delivered a thought provoking speech which inspired both students and parents. The programme came to an end after the vote of thanks followed by national anthem.
