Young Scientists Mehek Kapadia and Dishita Dharmavat from Junior category received 1st Prize in the event Rag Bag. They presented a simple concept of ‘Simple Pendulum’ to create artistic designs by changing the length of the pendulum. They used waste materials like wall paper rolls, sand, recycled base for a stand from metallic waste. They were able to apply the concept learnt in Std VII. Judges were highly impressed as they were able to answer higher order questions.
