The Pre-Primary Section of the Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Pune showcased a wonderful Annual Cultural program on November 24 th ,2022. The theme of the program was ‘Panchamahabhootam’. The children presented ‘Wondrous Water’ symbolizing water as one of
the five elements of nature.
The program commenced with the felicitation of eminent Chief Guest Ms Priya Joshi a faculty at Flame University and the founder Director of Kalanilayam Dance Centre and an empanelled Guru at Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune University as well as the School of Performing Arts. She was accompanied by Dr Ashok Vikhe Patil, Chairman of Vikhe Patil Foundation, and Ms Nandini Vikhe Patil, Director of, the Schools Programme, of Vikhe Patil Foundation.
The cultural program unfolded beautifully, with the little ones staging a musical dance drama with different dances depicting the elements of nature and expressing their gratitude towards them despite the hardships brought by modern humans, This programme successfully made a strong impression on the young minds by making them aware of their responsibility in conserving water as one of the most important elements of nature.
The hard work and practice put in by the young and impressionable minds under the able guidance and support of Ms Mrinalini Principal, VPMS, Pune was displayed through the mesmerizing performances.
