ACTIVITY:- ELOCUTION COMPETITION
Communication is the backbone of our society. It allows us to form connections, influence decisions, and motivate change. Without communication skills, the ability to progress in the working world and in life, itself, would be nearly impossible.
Public speaking is one of the most important and most dreaded forms of communication. Gloss phobia or speech anxiety, is the most common fear people have across the globe. This has been started by most of the schools where children get the platform to present
themselves. One such commendable initiative is taken by Pune Warriors. Making children aware about the hazardous effect of environment, they were given a chance to speak and share their ideas as well as give the solutions about Climate change . On 10 th December
Elocution Competition was organized at Indradhanush hall from 9.30 to 12.30pm.
A warm welcome and hospitality awaited all the participants. Teachers, students and parents were provided proper snacks .Each volunteer took utmost care to make each one of us comfortable. The inauguration started with the welcoming speech by Ms Vandana Chavan .She gave a brief idea about the entire project which is functioning with one goal in mind. She thanked each school and the students to be a part of this program. All the eminent judges were introduced by Ms.Diksha Chavan , who also briefed about the rules of the competition. Each one of them spoke with simplicity and generosity. Program was conducted in different venues as per the classes VI-VIII. After every 10 students feedback was given to all the students. All the judges encouraged the participants and also shared their valuable guidance. Results will be shared through mails after 2-3 days.We are waiting many more such events where our children can showcase their
talents.
