Making of soft and cloth toys, toys based on coins and origami and games for donation
Students of class VIII, VPMS, Pune had an activity of the month to make creative items like soft toys, puppets, cloth animals and board games like colour wheel. The activity was conducted on the 20 th January 2023. The creative articles will be donated to an orphanage as a part of the celebration of the ‘Joy of Giving’. The idea behind this activity was to encourage students to express their creativity and develop an attitude of ‘share and care’ through activity. The students worked in groups or a pair. They come prepared with basic readiness needed for the object which they were making. This activity also helps to improve planning skill of the students. Students distributed the work and material to be bring among themselves and did final creation at school.
The participation was high, keeping them engaged throughout the activity which was thoroughly enjoyed making the session enriching and fruitful.
