Pre-Primary Annual Sports Day

On 31 st January 2023, Vikhe Patil Memorial School organised its Annual Sports Day for the Pre–Primary Section. The event took place in the spacious playground of the school.
The theme of the Annual Sports Day Meet was “Stay Healthy”.
The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest Ms Bela Tamhankar, Chairman Dr Ashok Vikhe Patil, and the Joint Secretary of the Schools Programme Ms Nandini Vikhe Patil.
The Sports Day began with the March Past by the Sr.KG students.
With pride and honour, the Sr.KG children marched for their first March Past. This was followed by Mass Drill in which the children performed exercises and demonstrated the message to “Stay Healthy”
A robust mind and a lively body is the fundamental requirement to live a long and healthy life. With this message in mind, the PT display aimed to enlighten the audience on the merits of living a fit and healthy life, promoting the initiative of “Stay Healthy”.
The students of Jr.KG and Sr.KG competed against each other and participated in fun games like the farmer’s race, market race, hoopla race etc. Donning bright yellow and blue shirts, the children sprinted in fun races to fetch fruits and vegetables from the market. The relay races by
Jr. and Sr.KG children showcased team spirit and coordination.
The Annual Sports Day meet instilled the essence of team spirit, teamwork and the sheer mental and physical benefits of sports.
Soaking up the sun on a chilly January morning, the Pre-Primary children put up a splendid sports performance for all the parents.
