REPORT OF THE G20 ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED ON 18 TH APRIL 2023
Canada has been assigned to Vikhe Patil Memorial School Pune as it is part of Zone 3. In accordance with the instructions circulated by the CBSE, numerous activities were conducted at Vikhe Patil Memorial School Pune. Among these were skit and nukkad natak which were performed by the students of Std 9 and 10 on 18 th April 2023 between 8 a.m. and 9.30 p.m. during the morning assembly. These were based on various themes such as festivals, culture, folklore, music of India and Canada.
The students put up their performances house wise- Coral House, Emerald House, Ruby House, and Sapphire House.
The team performances were judged by the Cultural Coordinator Ms. Sheetal Upadhye and the music teacher Mr. Vivek Rathod.
For the skit segment, Sapphire House bagged the first spot, Coral stood second, Emerald stood third and Ruby fourth and for the Nukkad Natak- Coral stood first, Ruby was second, Sapphire third and Emerald stood fourth.
The students made the best use of comic timing, music, and dance to showcase the similarities and differences between India and Canada. They enjoyed the process of script writing, dress rehearsal and performing the final acts whilst learning a lot about Canada.
All in all, it was a fruitful learning experience for the students.
