Activity: Upcycling of old notebooks

‘Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way’.
As a part of community service programme students of Std VIII made DIY notebooks from unused sheets of paper. The blank papers were used to make reusable diaries and notepads.
The same will be distribute to needy children during an outreach programme further in the year. This was a House-wise activity that motivated students to work in teams through healthy competition to create quantified and qualified reusable notebooks and diaries.
The objective of this activity was:
-to encourage students to make best use of the resources available through upcycling to create usable materials.
-To raise an awareness among students for the underprivileged students.
This activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students who utilised their time and energy to the fullest.
