Field Trip Report “Bake-lite Food Processing Private Ltd” Report
A field trip was organised on the 18 th and 19th of January 2024 for Std IV and V respectively to ‘Bake-lite Food Processing Private Ltd.’ The trip was organised during school hours. Bake-lite is a renowned name in Bakery products and the unit is situated in Pune district of Maharashtra. The company was founded by entrepreneur, Mr Sachin Malpani, in the year 1999.The field visit was arranged by Mr Kohhinoor Indani, a parent of our school.
The students were explained the various stages involved in batches. First, they were taken to the production department where different types of bakery products were demonstrated in their initial stages. Then the students and staff were guided to the baking department where the products were being baked in huge ovens. Products like khari, cream rolls, etc. were being produced at the facility. The tour of the facility ended with the packing department where one could see the packing of the baked products being completed with the help of
automatic packing machines. The students were distributed with samples of cream roll which is the best selling product of Bake-lite.
During the tour students watched and listened attentively to the instructions and information given by the incharge and took notes. They also asked questions and cleared their doubts regarding the various processes and environmental issues. The field trip was very informative and the students were happy and delighted to see and learn the baking process of baking at ‘Bake-lite Food Processing Private Ltd.
