Swar Chetana – Celebrating the joy of music!

Swar Chetana- the solo singing competition held on June 27, 2024, was a testament to the magical power of music. With auditions conducted a week earlier, the event brought together the best vocal talents from the Upper Primary Section.
The competition, which was a continuation to the World Music Day celebrations, aimed to foster a love for music, promote self-expression and build confidence among students. It provided a platform for participants to showcase their talent in the supportive environment of their peers and teachers. The participants confidently presented a wide range of classical, devotional and folk songs.
The event was judged by an esteemed panel of in-house judges comprising of Ms Shirish Sant and Ms Swati Kulkarni. Both the judges are known for their deep inclination towards music and achievements in this field. The judges evaluated the performances on the basis of pitch, accuracy, sense of rhythm, articulation and overall presentation. After intense deliberation the judges announced the winners –
Std 4 : First Place – Sohug Mondal
Second Place – Nihira Pandit
Third Place – Vikhyat Nair
Std 5 : First Place – Swara Kulkarni
Second Place – Aashna Malkarnekar
Third Place – Tanya Poovaiah
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. The judges appreciated all the participants for their talent and passion for music.
