‘Dates that come around every year help us measure progress in our lives. The annual event is a time of unification and celebration’.

The above quote conveys the importance of unity, collaboration and celebration in our lives. The annual day is the most anticipated event of the year. This year, the prestigious Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Pune celebrated a week-long Annual Concert. For the very first time, the Middle School Section had a two-day Annual Function by splitting the A and B sections on Day 1 and C and D sections on Day 2 (Classes 6-8).

Inspired by the timeless classic, ‘The Sound of Music’, the Middle School presented a musical drama with the same name. The event showcased the harmony and melody of education. ‘The Sound of Music’ offers timeless lessons that resonate beyond the screen. By integrating the films themes like trust, love, perseverance, individual growthand balanced discipline, we can enrich our family lives and  enhance our effectiveness as leaders. The prominent themes and values weaved through the play were hope and resilience, music and joy, family and love, freedom and courage, faith and preservation of one’s values and cultural identity.

Additionally, a beautiful sapling along with a vibrant painting created by one of our talented students, was gifted to the chief guest as a token of gratitude. The chief guest delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the pivotal role of education and cultural diversity in shaping our society. In his speech, he showered words of praise and admiration on the staff and students of VPMS for their immense hard work and creativity.

Cultural Extravaganza:
The heart of the Annual Day Celebration was the dazzling array of cultural performances presented by our students. These performances transcended boundaries and left the audience spellbound. Students showcased their talents through a myriad of dance forms and melodious songs like the evergreen ‘Do Re Mi’, the motivational ‘Climb Every Mountain’, the exhilarating ‘The Hills are Alive’ and the iconic
