Sr. KG Greet and Meet Report for October: “Transport Rhymes”
“Show me and I may remember to involve me and I will understand better”
The Sr. KG students had a "Greet and Meet" session centred around the theme of Transport Rhymes. It was held from Monday 7 th October to Tuesday,15 th October. The purpose of the Greet and Meet sessions was to enhance the verbal skills and public speaking abilities of young children.
This activity provides them with an opportunity to stand in front of a small group, sing with actions, and modulate their voices. Transport is a topic that interests all kids, and they were excited to sing different rhymes about their favourite vehicles using props. Involving parents, the children prepared various amazing 3D models with their guidance.
This session served as a recap of the transport topic previously taught and all 118 students participated with enthusiasm. This activity serves as a platform for children to develop their public speaking skills. It also emphasizes the importance of listening as a crucial part of the learning process.
