Greet and Meet

The Greet and Meet activity for the Sr KG was held from Wednesday,8 th January to Monday,20 th January 2025. The theme for the month was seasons.
The objective of this “Greet and Meet” session was to provide students with an opportunity to showcase their knowledge about the different seasons while promoting communication and aimed to foster curiosity, enhance vocabulary related to seasons, and encourage observational skills in young learners.
The session began with a warm greeting, where each child introduced themselves and their topic. The students presented a concise and informative presentation on the topic “Seasons”, covering Summer, Monsoon, and Winter. Using creative props, they explained the
characteristics of each season, highlighting the things we use: umbrellas, raincoats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and warm clothing. Food and drinks: watermelon, lemonade, hot chocolate, and seasonal fruits. Weather: hot and humid, rainy, and cold. Clothing: light and
breathable, waterproof, and warm.
The students presentation effectively showcased their understanding of the different seasons, using props to enhance their explanations
The “Greet and Meet” activity achieved its objective, providing students with a platform to share their knowledge and develop essential life skills.
