Report – International Day of Yoga and World Music Day

Participants – 231 students of the Pre-Primary Section

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self – and music is the soul’s companion on that journey”.

On June 23, 2025, International Yoga Day and World Music Day were celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in the Multipurpose Hall. This day is observed worldwide and serves as a moment for self-reflection, mindfulness, and holistic well-being.

The celebration aimed to promote healthy living through yoga while also highlighting the joy and power of music. The students of Sr. KG A presented a vibrant and meaningful assembly. The assembly began with an explanation of the day’s significance, followed by interesting facts about yoga and music. The children emphasized the importance of yoga, and World Music Day added a joyful rhythm to the event with a delightful choir performance.

The students performed simple asanas while receiving explanations about their importance from the instructors. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 231 Pre-Primary students, all of whom took part with great excitement.

The celebration concluded with a calming two-minute meditation session, leaving the children feeling energized and truly embracing the spirit of yoga and music.
