“Animals teach children kindness, care, and respect for all living beings.”
An exciting and informative ‘Greet and Meet’ activity was conducted for Jr. KG students on the topic ‘Animals’ with the objective of creating an interactive learning environment while enhancing children’s communication and social skills.
Each child was given an opportunity to speak a few lines about their chosen animal, including its name, sound, food, habitat, and basic characteristics. To make learning more concrete and memorable, children dressed as different animals and brought various props such as masks, toys, and pictures related to animals. This added excitement, encouraged creativity and made the learning experience enjoyable and engaging. In addition, they learned values such as kindness, care, and respect for animals and living beings, fostering empathy and awareness of the natural world.
The Greet and Meet activity was successful in promoting language development, listening skills, and social bonding among the students. Overall, the session was an enjoyable and enriching experience that supported the holistic development of the children.
