Date: Tuesday, 3rd February to Friday, 6th February 2026

Topic: Birds

Participants: Jr. KG A, B, C, D

“Wings to fly songs to sing.”

An exciting and informative ‘Greet and Meet’ activity was conducted for Jr. KG students on the topic ‘Birds’ to foster cognitive growth, stimulate language skills, encourage emotional connection to nature.

In an engaging classroom activity, each child was given the opportunity to present a few lines about their chosen bird, covering its name, the sound it makes, and its food. To make it more interesting children expressed through stories and songs. Few children were dressed in bird costumes and used props such as masks, clay, and toys, which fostered creativity and excitement. Beyond the academic facts, the activity instilled core values of kindness and empathy towards the natural world.

The Greet and Meet activity was successful in enhancing language development, listening skills, and social bonding among the students. This activity taught children the importance of caring and respecting all living beings.
