Report on Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at VPMS, Pune on 7th February, 2026. Investiture is one of the most significant events of the school, symbolizing the trust, confidence, and responsibility bestowed upon the newly elected student leaders.
The ceremony marked the formal induction of the student council, whose members pledged to uphold the values of the school with honesty, integrity, and dedication. The programme was presided over by our respected Principal, Ms. Mrinalini, and the Vice Principal. Parents were also cordially invited to witness the occasion.
The Investiture Ceremony commenced after the General Assembly. The Head Prefects, Captains and Vice Captains, Prefects and Vice Prefects, and members of the Student Council marched onto the stage in an orderly manner as their names were announced. The Principal conferred badges upon the newly constituted prefectorial body and administered the oath of office. The students were encouraged to serve as role models and discharge their duties sincerely as the nation builders of tomorrow, imbibing the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline, and determination as torchbearers of the future.
A captivating song, “Let’s Rise Up,” was presented by the school choir, adding charm and enthusiasm to the event.
The programme concluded with inspiring speeches by the Head Prefects, emphasizing leadership, responsibility, and service. The objective of the ceremony was to foster confidence, leadership qualities, and a sense of responsibility among the students. The event was a grand success and concluded with the School Song followed by the National Anthem.
