“A Day to Explore, Discover, and Smile”
The Sr. KG students visited the Post Office on University Road, the Jr. KG students explored the Fire Station at Erandwane, and the Nursery students went to Green Park to visit farm animals.
At the Post Office, Sr. KG children observed how letters and parcels are collected, sorted, and dispatched. The postman explained his important role in delivering mail to homes and offices. The children were delighted to see colourful stamps from different places, which helped them understand traditional methods of communication. The children were excited to receive postcards from the post master.
The Jr. KG students learned about fire safety and the vital work carried out by firefighters. They were excited to see fire engines and various safety equipment and enjoyed watching the live demonstration at the fire station. The visit also helped create awareness about important safety rules.
Nursery students visited Green Park, where they were thrilled to see various animals, including horses, buffalo, cows, dogs, and birds. Teachers explained the uses of these animals, and the children happily observed them all.
The day ended with happy hearts and many stories to share. It was a memorable and enriching experience for all our little learners—a perfect blend of learning and enjoyment.
