The Annual Day celebration for the Middle School students was held with great enthusiasm and splendour on 15th and 16th October 2025. This year’s theme, ‘Tenali Raman – Wit, Wisdom & Legacy,’ was thoughtfully chosen to celebrate the legendary intelligence, humour, and moral depth found in the tales of Tenali Raman, the iconic court poet of Emperor Krishnadevaraya from the Vijayanagara Empire.

The event served as a platform not only to showcase the theatrical, musical, and artistic talents of the students but also to instil cultural awareness, ethical reasoning, and critical thinking through the powerful medium of dramatized storytelling.

As part of the festivities, students from Classes 6, 7, and 8 presented a vibrant and thought-provoking Hindi play titled ‘Tenali Raman -Buddhi ka Jadugar’

This engaging production brought to life a series of witty and wise tales from Tenali Raman’s life, portraying how his sharp intellect and humour transformed complex situations into moments of insight and laughter in the royal court of King Krishnadevaraya.

The play featured a sequence of short episodes that showcased Tenali Raman’s intelligence, moral clarity, and clever problem-solving, all while evoking laughter and delight from the audience. Each story was woven with humour and meaning, reflecting the essence of his legacy.

The performance was further enriched by classical dance interludes, which added elegance, rhythm, and cultural depth. With colourful costumes, expressive dialogues, and graceful choreography, the students recreated the grandeur of the Vijayanagara court and the timeless charm of its era. These dance segments served as a beautiful bridge between the past and the present—a rhythm where tradition became the teacher.
