Report on Career Guidance Session by Mr. Vivek Velankar
A Career Guidance Session for the students of Class X was organized on 24th November 2025 in response to requests from parents. The session was conducted by Mr. Vivek Velankar, a renowned career counsellor and motivational speaker known for his extensive experience in guiding students and professionals.
The program began with Miss. Aarya Shirmali introducing the speaker. A warm welcome was then extended by Vice Principal Mr. Amol Patil and Senior School Coordinator Mrs. Anjali Naik. Many parents were present for the session, showing strong support and interest in their children’s academic and career choices.
The event was held in the Seminar Hall (Third Floor). Parents and students were requested to be seated by 9:45 a.m., and the session commenced punctually at 10:00 a.m.
Mr. Velankar engaged the audience with valuable insights on career planning and the evolving educational landscape. He emphasized the importance of self-awareness, goal-setting, and informed decision-making. The session helped students understand various academic streams available after Class X, emerging career opportunities, and the skills required to excel in the future workplace.
The interaction was well-received by both parents and students. Mr. Velankar also addressed individual queries, offering practical guidance and motivation. At the end of the session, Soham Nath proposed a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speaker and all participants.
