Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Pune under the able guidance of their enthusiastic team leader, Ms. Mrinalini, leaves no stone unturned while giving appropriate guidance to all its students for their holistic development.
In the delicate phase of adolescence, student of std. IX and X are going through various social and emotional challenges hence they are always under the stress of choosing a right path for their future careers.
Career guidance can help students weigh their values, interests, aptitudes, abilities and aspirations against those required for various careers. Students who have been provided with this information are better able to make informed decisions about their academic path, and more confident in pursuing their personal goals.
Keeping this aspect in mind, a career guidance session is organized for grade IX and X every month. As part of the same, for the month of August, a career talk on architecture and design industry and Biotechnology was conducted by Ms. Komal Mittal and By Mrs Niyanta Kumar on 16 th August from 10am to 11.30am, in the Audio visual room and Seminar hall of the main building. Both the guest speakers were alumni of 2004 and 2005 batch and were expertise in their respective fields.
They gave a wonderful insight on how one can achieve the desired goals with sincere efforts and perseverance. They also discussed every minute detail of the skills needed to choose these fields as future career. Students listened to both the speakers attentively and asked various questions. Their interactions with the guests confirmed that both the sessions were very fruitful.
