This activity was conducted to introduce students to basic cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and meal preparation and to explore them to the different cuisines, ingredients, and cooking traditions from around the world. The cooking activity started with an engaging and informative PowerPoint presentation which provided an overview of Mexico’s rich culinary traditions and a visual walkthrough of the recipes.
A team of 26 young chefs enthusiastically came together to prepare the two delicious dishes with great teamwork and excitement.
