Project 3 – Work in Human Service (Family Health Handbook)
No of Students: 50 – Group 3 (VII C & VII D)
As part of the CBSE Skill Education initiative, students participated in the Family Health Handbook activity to promote awareness of health, hygiene and well-being. Through an orientation and interactive activities, students explored nutrition, exercise, sleep, hygiene and lifestyle habits. They completed checklists covering themselves, parents and senior citizens, developing self-awareness, empathy and responsibility. Students also created creative handbook covers with health-related slogans. The activity encouraged them to become Health Ambassadors within their families and promote preventive healthcare and healthier lifestyles. Students were also oriented about the upcoming First Aid Box activity and its preparation.
Saturday, 13th June 2026: Students participated in Project 3: Work in Human Service (Family Health Handbook), focusing on the importance of first aid and emergency preparedness. Students created their own First Aid Boxes, identifying essential items and understanding their uses. An interactive session with School Nurse Ms. Susan further enriched their learning through demonstrations, real-life examples and basic first-aid measures. The activities developed practical life skills, encouraged responsible responses to minor injuries, and promoted a culture of safety and well-being at home, school and in the community.
On 27 June 2026, the Healing Hands Club conducted an enriching session in the Seminar Hall under the Family Health Handbook initiative. Students participated in Surya Namaskar, yoga, stretching and breathing exercises, followed by a creative activity on emotional and mental well-being. A Music Therapy session with Ms. Bhagyashri Badwaik used rhythm and music to promote relaxation and reduce stress. The programme encouraged students to embrace holistic well-being and healthy lifestyle practices.
Saturday, 08 August 2026: The Healing Hands Club conducted a series of meaningful activities aimed at promoting communication, empathy and responsibility among students. Oral assessments were conducted to assess students’ understanding and communication skills. The mental health activity, “Walk in My Shoes,” encouraged students to explore different perspectives through anonymous sharing, role-play and reflection, fostering empathy and kindness. The session concluded with a Cleanliness Drive, during which students enthusiastically cleaned their classrooms and corridors, reinforcing the values of teamwork, responsibility and care for their surroundings.
