Festive Fever
“Christmas is most truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most.”
Festive Seasons are all about mindfulness, love and genuine bonding. Sometimes, the best gifts arent things, but simple joyful experiences, heartfelt feelings, and genuine emotions speak volumes. Because joy can be found in life’s smallest, everyday moments.
The activity of the Month was titled ‘Festive Fever’ that entailed decorating the class boards of all sections of Class IX on the 28 th of November 2023. With the fast approaching festive season it was planned that students can do up the class boards with the themes of Christmas and New Year. Art and craft material had to be brought by students according to the theme planned by them.
The last two periods of the day were set aside for this activity. It was overwhelming to see the response and enthusiasm of the students who pooled in their ideas and creative skills to make their classrooms a must visit for Santa when he rides past on his sleigh.
Be it the Christmas buntings, snow flake origami, the ginger bread man, the lovely wordings and wishes for the festive season or the beautifully decorated Christmas tree, each was no less than a visual Christmas treat. The judges were left spell bound when they had to decide the best decorated class.
Students thoroughly enjoyed the activity that brought out the joy and warmth in them true in every way to the Festive Spirit.
