A field trip is a tool that helps students to experience and see things in person. Hence, a field trip was arranged for the students of Std 3 on Thursday, 7th August 2025. Everyone was enthusiastic and looking forward to the trip. After a short and comfortable journey, students reached Gram Sanskruti Udyan by 9:30 am.

Activities and Learning:

At the Udyan, the students explored various exhibits that showcased rural Indian culture and village life. Some highlights of the visit included:

  • Life-size models of a traditional Indian village, including huts, bullock carts, and farming tools.
  • Statues of villagers doing day-to-day activities like farming, pottery, cooking, and weaving.
  • A replica of a village school and a panchayat where children learned about local self-government.
  • Folk music and instruments displayed to teach students about traditional art and culture.
  • Students also saw domestic animals such as goats, hens, and cows, which helped them understand animal husbandry in rural areas.

The children were fascinated and asked many questions, showing great interest in how people live and work in Indian villages.

The field trip to Gram Sanskruti Udyan was a success. It provided a valuable learning experience outside the classroom and helped students understand the beauty and simplicity of village life. The students returned to school happy and enriched with new knowledge.
