Field Trip Report – Visit to the Post office

The students of Sr KG went for a field trip to the Post Office on Thursday,12 th December 2024. The main objective of the field trip was to introduce Sr.KG children to the concept of different postal services, while promoting to real life experiences. The children were given guided tour of the post office, where they learned about the different roles and responsibilities of postal workers.
The departments showcased about different packaging services where they learned to categorize letters and packages by shape and size. The children got to stamp and post their own post cards where they drew a Christmas tree and wrote New Year wishes on the post card. The children met the Postmaster, who explained the importance of the postal service and interacted with them.
The students were provided sumptuous snacks to keep them energized during the field trip. It was a wonderful exposure for the 109 students who went for the field trip to have the hands on experience of the Post Office.
