A Journey Through History: Std I Students Visit Seven Wonders Dream Park
The students of Std I from Vikhe Patil Memorial School embarked on an exciting and educational field trip to Yashwantrao Chavan Udyan, also known as the Seven Wonders of the World Dream Park, in Pune on 15 th January, 2025. The trip offered a unique opportunity for students to explore remarkable replicas of the world’s greatest architectural wonders, while also learning about history, geography, and
cultural heritage in a fun and engaging way.
The trip began with an engaging journey where the students observed different modes of public transportation, such as buses and the metro, giving them a glimpse into the importance of public transport in daily life.
Upon reaching the Dream Park, the young explorers were awestruck by the replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World, including the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, the Taj Mahal, the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Colosseum, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Stonehenge. The students enthusiastically walked around the park, marvelling at the intricate details of these replicas. Teachers explained each monuments historical significance and timelines, making the visit both informative and captivating. The meticulously crafted replicas of ancient monuments left the students in awe, sparking curiosity and admiration. The students’ exemplary behaviour caught the attention of other visitors in the
park, who praised them for their discipline and smartness. Teachers creatively narrated the history behind each wonder, helping students engagingly connect with the past.
The trip was attended by 180 students from Std I, accompanied by 5 teachers, ensuring a safe and enriching experience for all. The students actively participated in discussions and enthusiastically answered questions about the historical wonders they witnessed.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the trip, expressing their excitement about seeing the replicas and learning about the history of these world-famous monuments. Teachers commended the students for their curiosity and excellent behavior throughout the trip. Visitors in the park were also impressed by how well the students conducted themselves.
In conclusion, the field trip to the Seven Wonders Dream Park was a memorable and enriching experience for the Std I students. It not only broadened their horizons but also instilled in them a sense of appreciation for history and culture. The day was a perfect blend of learning, exploration, and fun, leaving everyone with cherished memories.
