Name of the Activity: HERBAL PRODUCT MAKING

Venue: Beauty and Wellness Centre Rooms (Foundation Block)
Objective: To educate students on the benefits of herbal skin care products and guide them in creating personalized items tailored to their skin type.
Activity Report:
The Herbal Product Making Activity was a highly engaging and educational event. The day began with an informative Power Point Presentation that introduced the concept of Herbal Product Making and the importance of using natural ingredients. The key ingredients for the different skin types were discussed in detail highlighting options for dry, oily, combination and sensitive skin. Students received their individual skin type details, allowing them to tailor the products to their specific needs.
The presentation also covered the proper usage of each product, including face cleansers, toners, scrubs, moisturizers and masks, along with post care tips to maintain a healthy skin. The hands-on session that followed was the highlight of the day, as students enthusiastically crafted their own skin care products under supervision. They mixed natural ingredients to create personalized face cleansers, toners, scrubs, moisturizers and masks.
Post care tips like hydration and proper use of the products, importance of a consistent skin care routine and avoiding common skin care mistakes were also shared.
The activity not only imparted valuable knowledge about skin care but also encouraged creativity and self-care among students, making it a successful and memorable effort.
