The activity aimed to:

- improve fine motor skills through careful placement of small pieces
- encourage patience, focus, and neatness
- build confidence by completing an individual art piece independently
Activity
The session was guided by the resource persons, Ms Bhakti Sambare and Ms Arohi Sambare, who patiently introduced the students to the basics of mosaic art and encouraged them throughout the activity. Students were shown simple examples to help them understand the idea of creating pictures using small pieces. Each child was given a base sheet, tile pieces, and colours. They planned their designs on the mdf cutouts first and then carefully arranged the pieces to form patterns, shapes, and simple pictures.
The classroom atmosphere was peaceful and focused. Children worked with excitement and curiosity, helping each other when needed and sharing ideas. Teachers guided them gently, allowing students to think independently while offering support wherever required.
