Independence Day Celebration

The 78th Independence Day began with great enthusiasm and fervor at Vikhe Patil Memorial School. The program commenced with a welcome by the Head of student council, Shourya Salunkhe and Riddhima Mutha, setting a patriotic tone for the event.
The morning began with a soulful prayer, “Har Desh Mai Tu,” led by Ms. Rajinder Kaur. The Principal, Mrinalini Ma’am hoisted the flag, followed by a respectful salute to the flag and the singing of the National Anthem. The program continued with the recitation of the School Pledge by Sanjana Pala and a thought- provoking poem by Devanshi Bihani. Maitree Pateriya delivered an inspiring speech that ignited patriotic fervor among the students.
The melodious voices of the school choir, led by Mr. Ninad Kulkarni, captivated the audience with the group song “Yeh Desh” followed by Sanika Dutte, the Head Girl proposing the vote of thanks and singing of the National song. The programme concluded with distribution of sweets by the Prefectorial Body. The Independence Day celebration was a memorable event that instilled a sense of patriotism and unity among the students and intensified and deepened the bond and reinforced nationalistic feelings in the students for their country.
