Report of Industrial Visit
As part of the Skill Education program, an industrial visit to Triotech Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., Bhosari was organized for the students of Class X B. The objective of the visit was to gain practical insights into manufacturing processes, understand the operations of an industrial establishment, and explore career opportunities in the field of Mechatronics.
Triotech Engineering, established in 1999, is a rapidly growing organization focused on designing and manufacturing specialized engine, vehicle, and driveline test equipment. It was founded by a group of highly qualified engineers, each with over two decades of experience in the field.
The visit commenced with a warm welcome and an informative introduction by the Director, Mr. Aatmaram Londhe, who shared the company’s vision, operations, and growth journey. Following this, the students were divided into two groups and taken on a guided tour through the following units:
1. Manufacturing Unit: Students observed the assembly lines and various manufacturing processes in action. They witnessed the application of advanced machinery and automation systems that enhance productivity and efficiency. The visit highlighted the importance of quality control in maintaining customer satisfaction and competitiveness in the market.
2. Design and Software Unit: Here, students interacted with the engineers and design team. They were introduced to the working of AI cameras, and observed 2D and 3D product designs. The team also demonstrated the software used for designing products, offering students a glimpse into the digital side of manufacturing.
3. Electronics Unit: Students explored the process of assembling electronic components specific to different product designs. The session provided insights into the technical skills required and the precision involved in electronic manufacturing.
Throughout the visit, students were engaged in meaningful discussions about the challenges and opportunities within the industry, as well as the latest innovations in manufacturing technology. The company also generously served the students Vadapav and Laddo, adding a warmth to the experience.
The industrial visit to Triotech Engineering was truly educational and enriching. It provided valuable practical exposure to the functioning of an industrial setup and enhanced the students understanding of manufacturing processes and management practices. Most importantly, it inspired students to consider diverse career paths in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our Principal, Mrinalini Ma’am, for giving us this wonderful opportunity. We also thank the management and staff of Triotech Engineering for their hospitality, insightful guidance, and cooperation throughout the visit.
