Class: Jr. KG – A B C D
“To see a child interact with an animal is to witness the purest form of connection and trust.”
This quote beautifully captures the essence of our recent Paper Bag Animal Craft Activity, where the 136 Jr. KG children immersed themselves in a creative journey to explore their love and curiosity for animals.
The goal of the activity was to combine creativity, learning, and fun by guiding the children to create animal puppets using simple paper bags.
The activity began with a lively discussion about animals. The children spoke about their favourite animals, discussing their features, sounds, and habitats. This sparked curiosity and joy among the children. Using coloured paper, crayons other materials, the children
transformed plain paper bags into adorable elephants, bears, giraffes, hens, dogs, rabbits, cats etc. The process required them to cut, glue, and draw, enhancing their motor skills and creativity.
Once the puppets were complete, the classroom was filled with laughter and excitement as the children used their creations for role-play. They mimicked animal sounds, acted out stories, and shared their puppets with friends.
Through this activity, we saw not just paper bags turn into animals but also the classroom transforms into a space of creativity, compassion, and endless smiles.
