Jr. KG Greet and Meet Report for November : “Community Helpers ”

Date of Event: 18 th November to 22 nd November 2024

“True beauty is born through our actions and aspirations and in the kindness we offer to others” – Alek Wek

The students of Jr. KG had the topic of “Community Helpers" as a part of the “Greet and Meet” session in November. The event was planned to allow children to share their understanding of how community helpers help us in different ways by providing important services, keeping us safe, and making our lives easier. Each student had the opportunity to talk 4-5 lines about the topic. Children spoke about different community helpers who do important jobs to help everyone in the community, which makes it a wonderful place to live and are like real-life superheroes who make our neighbourhoods safer, happier, and better.

The students used charts, drawings, and models to illustrate their talk. A few of the students dressed up as community helpers (ex. doctors, nurses, firefighters, policemen, teachers, bakers, etc) They also shared about what they are interested in doing when they grow. The activity aimed to enhance oratory skills and promote interactive learning. The event saw full participation from all 138 students, with each child excited to share their thoughts.
