The students of Jr. KG participated in an engaging “Greet and Meet” Session for February on the topic of “Seasons.” This interactive event was designed to help young Vikheites explore the different seasons while encouraging them to express their thoughts in a supportive environment.
The main objectives of the "Seasons" talk were to:
Develop an understanding of the seasons.
Encourage students to share their ideas and observations.
Enhance public speaking skills and boost confidence.
The students had the opportunity to talk about a season of their choice. They shared their notions on sunny summers, rainy monsoons, and breezy winters. Some spoke about the clothes we wear, the food we eat, and the activities we enjoy in different seasons. To make their talks more engaging, the students used colourful charts, drawings, and models for different seasons. The event witnessed full participation from all 138 students, each eager to share their knowledge. The “Seasons” talk turned into a lively and enriching experience for the young learners. They actively participated, showcasing their creativity and growing confidence while speaking. The session created a joyful learning atmosphere and also sparked curiosity and excitement, for them to express their thoughts, and develop a love for learning.
