The paper plate diya activity was conducted for the Jr. KG students. This engaging activity aimed to infuse a sense of fun and festivity into the curriculum while aligning with a holistic approach to early childhood education. By incorporating the paper plate diya activity, the school sought to address various developmental domains and promote skills such as cultural awareness and social enhancement.
The students used semi-circled paper plates, coloured with vibrant colours and decorated with thumbprints. Followed by sticking yellow and orange paper cutouts as flame and completing the diya with a satin ribbon.
The continuous engagement of the 136 students during the hands-on activity showcased their dedication and interest in the task at hand.
The activity helped to promote a well-rounded educational experience and the students participated with enthusiasm.
