Activity of the month – Group Singing
Music has a powerful impact on emotional intelligence and social skills of children It plays an important role in the life of a child by providing it an opportunity of self-expression. Keeping this in mind the activity of the month of February was Group Singing. The activity was conducted for the students of Std I – III on Friday, 23 rd February 2024 in the Multipurpose Hall in the Junior Block. The students were trained by the Western Music teacher – Ms Vidya Sonawane. The students sang melodious songs in Hindi, Marathi and English. Each group sang in rhythm, correct pitch and tone.
Music gives wings to the heart and takes it to the world of joy was clearly seen through this
activity.
