Participants – Students of Grade 1, 2 and 3.
A Fun filled Day
To take a break from the regular routine is not only refreshing but essential for the holistic development of a student. Keeping this in mind the Lower Primary Section of Vikhe Patil Memorial School organized a picnic for students of Std II and III on Monday 25 th
November, 2024 and for the students of Std I on Tuesday 26 th November, 2024 to Lekha Farms.
The students boarded the bus with bubbling excitement. They all enjoyed the ride to the venue eating, singing and clapping. Keeping the age group of students in mind a variety of activities were planned for them. Activities like the magic show and puppet show were the highlights of the picnic. The tattoo artist painted some beautiful and intricate designs on the students’ forearms. The play area had slides, jungle gym and swings which the students thoroughly enjoyed.
No picnic is complete without mouthwatering food. The students were served hot, healthy and delicious food for breakfast and lunch in the dining area. Post lunch the students boarded the bus to come back to school.
The main objective of this activity was to develop social skills, teamwork and learning outside the classroom. This activity also aimed at strengthening bonds and creating memories.
The organizing team, teachers and support staff made it a point that the class picnic was not only rejuvenating but also safe and well-coordinated. It was truly a balanced blend of leisure and learning for the students.
