Maharashtra Day Celebration
VPMS campus was abuzz with students and all the employees on 1 st May 2023 as the school celebrated Maharashtra Day with
a lot of enthusiasm. Keeping the importance of the day in mind the thought for the day and the significance of the day were
read out in the assembly. The flag was hoisted at the hands of the Secretary, Vikhe Patil Memorial, Dr Manoj Narawade. The
occasion was graced by the presence of the Joint Secretary and Director, Nandini Vikhe Patil.
This day is also celebrated as Labours Day. The objective of this celebration was to acknowledge the contribution of all the
support staff, which is instrumental in the development and growth of the institute. It included all the support staff right from Kakas and Mavshis of the school to the housekeeping staff, from catering to the transport to the electrician and plumber of the school. The staff was felicitated by the Vice Principal and the section Coordinators and all those in charge of the agency were felicitated by the management and the school principal, Mrinalini Ma’am. A Marathi poem highlighting the significance of the day was presented.
Needless to say, all the support staff was extremely happy and felt valued as their hard work and sincerity were acknowledged.
On the whole, the celebration of Maharashtra Day and Labour Day was very well received and enjoyed by everyone.
