Mulshi Camp

Day 1: Arrival, Team Formation & Orientation
Upon arrival at the Mulshi campsite in the evening, the Young Ranger contingent gathered for a formal flag-hoisting ceremony to mark the official commencement of the camp. Participants were then served a round of hot snacks and refreshments, followed by an introductory address from the camp coordinator detailing safety guidelines, rules, and expectations for the expedition. Afterward, rangers were assigned their tents to settle in and organize their gear, which was followed by a wholesome, scrupulously prepared dinner. Embracing the spirit of teamwork and responsibility after the meal, the students happily took on assigned duties for cleaning, including floor mopping and washing utensils.
Day 2: Adventure Activities, Team Challenges & Cultural Evening
Dawn broke over the rugged Mulshi hills as the second day of the Young Ranger camp stirred into motion, beginning with a revitalizing session of morning stretching exercises and a guided nature walk through the vibrant Western Ghats. Returning to camp with a hearty appetite, the participants savored a healthy breakfast before gathering for a briefing on the day’s events, which commenced proudly with the school anthem. This set the stage for an action-packed circuit of adventurous activities, including a challenging obstacle course and climbing wall that tested their agility and determination. Following a well-deserved lunch, the afternoon buzzed with excitement as the campers got engaged in thrilling indigenous games like Lagori.They enjoyed evening, tangy Bhel, relished to the last bite and took a peaceful late-day nature walk as twilight descended.
After returning to the campsite for a healthy dinner, the evening blossomed into a vibrant celebration of culture and camaraderie under the stars. Laughter and applause filled the clearing as the rangers took center stage for a series of expressive skits with themes like Mera Bharat Mahan, alongside deeply patriotic performances, Guess the brand game, singing with a twist, and joyful dancing that brought the unforgettable day to a spirited close.
Day 3: Nature Trek, Camp Reflection & Closing Ceremony
The final day of the camp took an unexpected turn when the rain god showered down early in the morning, granting the kids some much-needed extra time to sleep. Once the weather smoothed out, the young rangers eagerly sprang into action, rolling up their sleeves to thoroughly clean their tents, arranging their beds, and scrubbing the washrooms before gathering for a hearty breakfast. With the skies finally cleared and the wilderness refreshed, the campers ventured out for one last tranquil nature walk, soaking in the crisp, rain-kissed beauty of Mulshi before bidding farewell to an unforgettable adventure.
Conclusion
The Mulshi expedition proved to be far more than just an outdoor getaway, transforming into a profound lesson in growth and resilience. Through shared chores, thrilling challenges, and unpredictable weather, the young rangers learned the true value of teamwork and self-reliance away from the comfort of their parents.
