Students of Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Pune, participated in The Big Green Fest organized by Pune Climate Warrior at Kalgram on 17th and 18th January, 2026.
Students set up various stalls to display and sell their creative works and handmade products such as candles, crochet toys, resin keychains, seed balls, and various food items like sandwiches, pancakes, salads. The response from visitors was overwhelming, and the students earned a commendable profit from their sales.
Adding to the success, students also participated in a song competition at the event and won the consolation position. They were also awarded for creative stalls at the event.
The objective of the fest was to encourage students to develop holistic growth by showcasing talent, team work and building confidence.
Overall, the Pune Climate Warrior Program proved to be an enriching and empowering experience, inspiring students to take meaningful steps towards environmental conservation and sustainability.
