Classes: – Pre-Primary Section

Topic: – Republic Day

Date: – 16.01.2026 to 23.01.2026

“Our nation is the greatest in the world, but let us strive to make it even better.”

“The tricolour is more than just a flag—it’s our identity.”

Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26th January to mark the adoption of the Constitution of India in 1950. To instill a sense of patriotism among young learners, the Pre-Primary section organised a special morning assembly on 23rd January 2026.

The assembly began with a prayer, followed by melodious patriotic songs presented by the Jr. KG B students, who sang with great enthusiasm and confidence. A few students also shared interesting historical facts related to Republic Day. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, sung with great pride and enthusiasm. The children were joyful and excited to be part of this meaningful and memorable assembly.

To foster this patriotic spirit, Pre-Primary students participated in a special craft activity. Students engaged in a hands-on session where Sr. KG created tri-colour flowers, Jr. KG tulips, and Nursery tri-colour leaves. The children used pre-cut paper strips to assemble tri-coloured tulips and flowers. They also practiced watercolour dabbing techniques to create vibrant, tri- coloured leaves.

This activity not only enhanced their creativity and artistic skills but also taught them the importance of aiming high while remaining connected to their roots. All children participated enthusiastically and showed great interest in the activity.
