CLUB ACTIVITY REPORT FOR ROBOTICS CLUB 23 rd September 2023
Name of activity
Level 1: Remote Controlled Robo racer car and Robotic Pencil Sharpener (individual-take home)
Level 2: Robotic Snake and Aarti Robot (individual-take home)
Level 3: Arduino based digital counter (individual take home)
Objective of the activity
Level 1: Students will be making a Robo racer car and Robotic sharpener. Understanding the DP, DT switches. Controlling direction of the motor.
Level 2: Students will be making robotic snake and Aarti robot. Understanding the movement of robotic snake. Understanding the DP, DT switches.
Level 3: Students will learn how to program a Seven segment display which is a form of electronic display for displaying integers 0 to 9.

Procedure
Level 1:
- Robotic Pencil Sharpener
– Making connections with the battery/ switches.
– Assembling body of the pencil sharpener.
# Material used: DC geared motors, 2-way tape, 9V battery, 9V battery cap, on off switch, sharpener and wires.
- Remote Controlled Robo Racer Car (Will be continued in the next session)
– Remote making for the racer car
– making body of the car
– fixing nut bolts and the motor
# Material used: Plywood, 2 DC geared motors, wheels, nut bolts, clamps, castor wheels, battery, plastic box with DPDT switches, wires, 4 strip wire
Level 2:
- Aarti Robot
– Making connections with the battery/ switches.
– Assembling the L shape clamp to the Z shape clamp using nut bolts and washer.
# Materials used: Clamps, foam disc, 9V battery, 3V coin cell, nails, on off switch, geared motor, nut bolts, washer and wire
- Robotic Snake (Will be continued in the next session)
– Making connections with the battery/ switches.
– Assembling body of the snake.
– Connecting remote to the robotic snake.
# Materials used: Rubber foam pieces, wheels, remote box with DPDT switches, copper wire,9V battery and cap, DC toy motor, 4 strip wire
Level 3: Arduino based digital counter
– Connecting the seven segment display pins to the Arduino board
– Writing of the code and uploading the same.
#Material used: 7 segment display, M to M jumper wires, Arduino UNO board, 9V battery and connector, Resistor 220 Ω
