
The Roots and Riches Club of Vikhe Patil Memorial School, Pune organized an educational tour to Badami and Hampi from 31st October to 5th November 2025. A total of 66 students and 5 teachers participated in the tour.
The group started their journey on 31st October at 6:30 p.m. from pune travelling in two luxury buses. After dinner at Vitthal Kamats, Yawat, the group continued their overnight journey and reached Badami the next morning.
On 1st November, students explored the Badami Caves, Badami Fort, Bhutnath Temple, and the scenic Agastya Lake. The following day, they visited the UNESCO World Heritage Sites at Pattadakal and Aihole before proceeding to Hampi.
The visit to Hampi included exploring the magnificent Virupaksha Temple, Monolithic Bull, and the famous Vitthala Temple on 3rd November, followed by the Queen’s Bath, Lotus Mahal, and other architectural marvels on 4th November.
The group began their return journey in the evening and reached Pune safely on 5th November at 6:00 a.m. The tour was an enriching experience, blending history, architecture, and adventure with joyful learning beyond the classroom.
