A Fun filled Day
Laughter, sunshine and friendship – a perfect picnic recipe.
To take a break from the regular routine is not only refreshing but essential for the holistic development of a student. Keeping that in mind the Lower Primary Section of Vikhe Patil Memorial School organized a picnic for students of Std I on Friday 7th November, 2025 to Lekha Farms.
The main objective of this activity was to develop social skills, teamwork and learning outside the classroom. This activity also aimed at strengthening bonds and creating memories.
Safety instructions were discussed by the class teachers before the students boarded the bus. With hearts full of joy and eyes gleaming with excitement, the students boarded the bus eagerly. Their laughter and chatter filled the air as the journey to the picnic spot began.
The students enjoyed the bus ride to the venue, singing cheerful songs, clapping in rhythm, and sharing stories with their friends. A range of activities suitable for the student’s age was thoughtfully planned to keep them engaged.
Students were delightful to watch the puppet show. The magician’s trick filled the students with amazement.
The tattoo artist painted some beautiful and intricate designs on the student’s forearms. The students had demonstrated good social interaction during playing time on the slides and swings.
Playing on the jungle gym encouraged teamwork and physical activity among the students.
No picnic is complete without mouthwatering food. The students were served hot, healthy and delicious food for breakfast and lunch in the dining area. Post lunch the students boarded the bus to come back to school.
The organizing team, teachers and support staff made it a point that the class picnic was not only rejuvenating but also safe and well-coordinated. It was truly a balanced blend of leisure and learning for the students.
