Trek to Rajgad

“Where the signposts end, the trail begins.”
This month’s T3 Club activity was an overnight stay at Balaji Resort, followed by a trek to Rajgad. The students reported to school at 4.30 pm on 15th December, attendance was taken by the teachers in-charge and students boarded their buses. The buses left the school premises at 5.30pm.
We arrived at Balaji Resort at 8pm. Students were allocated their rooms section wise. After freshening up, dinner was served. Following which the students were given time to play various games on the lawn or partake in the vibrant DJ night. The next morning breakfast was served at 6 am, after which we left for Rajgad fort at 7am. At 7.30 am some basic instructions regarding the trek were given and the significance of Rajgad was elaborated, soon after this we began the ascent. The students enjoyed the scenic beauty and were very excited to reach the top. At around 12pm we completed the trek and returned to the base where the buses were parked and left for the resort.
On reaching the resort, students freshened up and relished the delicious lunch being served. Following this, students took all their belongings, headcount was taken by the teachers and students were seated in their respective buses. During the return journey packed snacks were distributed among the students. We reported to school at 4.45 pm. This trip was a blend of relaxation at Balaji Resort and adventure at Rajgad, creating memorable experiences for all participants.
