On Saturday, 28 th June 2025, students of standard VI and X enjoyed a ‘Wall Climbing’ activity with 13 teachers and a professional climber for which students reporting time was 7:00 am.
It was a bright sunny day to enjoy an outdoor activity with friends.
Students were served breakfast after reaching the venue located in Shivajinagar area. Students did warm up exercises with professional climber to prepare their body for the activity. The purpose of a warmup is to prevent injury by increasing the body’s core and
muscle temperature.
A climbing wall is an artificially constructed wall with grips for hands and feet. With professional guidance, students started the wall climbing one by one. There were two types of difficulty levels for wall climbing.
Scaling a rock wall is a full body workout. As the muscles of the shoulders and back contract to pull the body upward, the legs and glutes push off lower holds to power a climber up a route.
Getting out of comfort zone from time to time creates just enough good stress to ramp up focus, creativity, pace, and drive. It helps respond to life stress when unexpected things happen.
Professional Climber:
1. Mr. Amol Jogdand & Team.
Thanks, and regards,
