A special assembly was held on Friday, 16th August 2024 at 9: 20 am in the multipurpose hall of the junior block to celebrate Independence Day and to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil(Padma Shri Awardee)
The students of Sr. KG B conducted the assembly, which commenced with prayer and thought for the day. This thought set a reflective and inspirational tone for the proceedings. Following the thought, students shared some interesting facts about Independence Day. These facts provided the students with valuable insights into the historical significance of the day. The choir singers from Sr. KG B enthralled everyone with their melodious rendition of “Desh Hamara Humko Pyara” under the guidance of the music teacher.
As we honoured our nation’s independence, it was also a befitting moment to pay tribute to one of India’s great visionaries, Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil. (Padma Shri Awardee) In continuation of the special assembly, we observed his birth anniversary, celebrating his immense contributions to the upliftment of society.
The assembly began with some interesting facts about Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil’s life.
A special PowerPoint presentation was shown to our little ones, showcasing key milestones in his life. The visual aid was instrumental in helping students understand the impact of his work. It was a great tribute to a leader whose legacy inspires generations.
The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem.
