“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower”.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025-26 was held with great enthusiasm and reverence on 21 st January 2025. The Investiture Ceremony marked a significant day in the lives of the newly elected student council members, as they took an oath to uphold the values and responsibilities entrusted to them. This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school reposes in the newly elected office bearers. Our Principal and Vice Principal presided over the function. A few parents were cordially invited to witness the
programme.

The Investiture Ceremony commenced after the general assembly .The general assembly started with the prayer “Pasyadan” followed by Thought for the day , facts about leadership and current affairs. The head prefects, prefects and vice prefects, captains and vice captains and members of the student council marched on stage as their names were called out. Our Principal, Mrs. Mrinalini Fernandes conferred the newly constituted prefectorial body with badges and administered the oath to them. The students were encouraged to be the role models and render their responsibilities sincerely as the nation builders of tomorrow and to inculcate the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline, and determination as they are the torch bearers of the future.

A graduation song ‘Auld Lang Syne’ was presented by the school choir under the guidance of Tanmay Mathew sir.
The phrase “Auld Lang Syne" is a Scots term that means “times gone by “ or “days of old”, the song is about valuing the bonds of friendship, even as time moves on.

Subsequently, all the students of classes 10 and 12 were invited on stage. In her closing address, the principal emphasized the importance of leadership, responsibility and teamwork in shaping the future of the students. She encouraged the newly elected leaders to lead with integrity , humility and dedication.

The event concluded with the inspiring speeches by the outgoing head prefects and newly elected head boy and head girl. The objective of the event was to develop leadership qualities and sense of responsibility among the students. The programme was a success and it concluded with the national anthem followed by the refreshment for parents in seminar hall.
