An orientation session was successfully conducted for the parents of Nursery and Junior KG on Friday, 20th March , under the able guidance of our Principal, Ms. Mrinalini Fernandes with the objective of familiarizing them with the school’s environment, policies, and academic approach.
The program commenced with a warm welcome to all parents. Ms.Sheetal Karnavat provided a comprehensive overview of the school’s vision, policies, and procedures, ensuring that parents were well-informed about the rules and regulations to be followed throughout the academic year. Important aspects such as curriculum, communication channels, and general discipline were clearly explained.
The session also included an address by the Principal, Ms Mrinalini Ma’am who warmly welcomed the parents and emphasized the importance of a strong partnership between the school and parents. The Principal highlighted the school’s commitment to providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young learners and encouraged parents to actively participate in their child’s educational journey.
The teaching staff was then formally introduced, allowing parents to become acquainted with the educators responsible for their children’s early learning journey. This interaction helped in building trust and establishing a positive connection between parents and teachers.
During the session, the school’s authorized vendors were introduced, giving parents clarity regarding uniforms, books, transport, and other essential services. This helped streamline the process for parents and ensured transparency.
The orientation was followed by a detailed class orientation, where parents were guided through the daily schedule, curriculum structure, teaching methodologies, and classroom expectations. Teachers also shared insights into how learning would be made engaging and child-friendly, along with ways parents could support their child’s development at home.
Overall, the session was informative and interactive, providing parents with a clear understanding of the school’s functioning and fostering a collaborative partnership for the child’s holistic growth.
