Date – Friday, 11th September 2026.

Participants – Students of Grade 2 (197 students + 5 teachers + 2 helpers)

Objective – To provide students with an experiential learning opportunity to understand the importance and uses of public places in our neighbourhood, while developing their observation skills, awareness, and responsible behaviour through a visit to Seven Wonders Dream Park.

As a part of the EVS lesson “My Neighbourhood,” the students of Grade II visited the Seven Wonders Dream Park also known as Late Yashwantrao Chavan Udyan on Friday, 11th September 2026.

The field trip was planned to provide students with an opportunity to learn beyond the classroom and understand how different places in our neighbourhood are used for recreation, learning and spending quality time with family and friends.

During the visit, the students explored the park and observed the replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World. They learnt that a park is an important place in our neighbourhood where people can relax, play, exercise and enjoy nature. The students also understood the importance of keeping public places clean and following rules while visiting them.

The students participated enthusiastically in the visit and showed curiosity while observing the different structures. They followed the instructions given by their teachers and demonstrated responsible behaviour throughout the trip.

The field trip helped the students connect classroom learning with real-life experiences. It enhanced their observation skills and made the concept of places in our neighbourhood more meaningful and enjoyable.

Overall, the visit to Seven Wonders Dream Park was an informative, engaging and memorable learning experience for the students of Grade II.
